We are looking for researchers to join our Biology team in leveraging the power of single-cell genomics towards drug discovery.  Your work developing in vitro and in vivo assays to better understand the role of novel targets will have a major impact on developing new drugs for patients suffering from cancer and autoimmune diseases.  We seek people who are curious about new science, comfortable being independent, confident in voicing their opinions, flexible to change as needs arise, and open to working with others on a diverse team.

  • Developing in vitro or in vivo models of cancer and autoimmune disease to validate targets and develop assays to drive drug discovery.
  • The use of genetic perturbation (e.g. CRISPR) and other techniques to validate biology and signal transduction mechanisms.
  • In depth analysis of immune cell subtypes.
  • Processing and analysis of tissues (human or mouse samples) for downstream analyses
  • Ability to effectively interpret experimental results.
  • Stellar record-keeping and communication skills.

  • BS or MS, with at least 5 years’ experience in an academic or industry lab.
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot technical and scientific issues, both individually and part of a team.
  • A deep knowledge of immunology methods (e.g. multicolor flow, immune cell polarization protocols, MLR, PBMC isolation).
  • Experience working with a diverse range of human or mouse immune cell subtypes and/or primary cells.
  • Experience with in vivo models including mouse tumor models (e.g. syngeneics, PDX), autoimmune models (e.g. DSS colitis, EAE), and processing of tissues for downstream analyses..
  • A track record of successfully using genetic (e.g. CRISPR) and molecular and cell biology techniques to validate targets and probe signal transduction mechanisms is highly desired.
  • Excellent organizational and documentation skills.
  • Outstanding written and oral communication skills.
