Our innovative science draws inspiration from nature and evolution, which offer insights into cancer targets, disease mechanisms and therapeutic approaches. As a new member of the RevMed team, you will join other committed professionals who are helping lead our efforts in the discovery and development of new medicines for unmet needs in cancer.



An ideal candidate for this position will be a leader and key contributor in our Information Sciences Department, reporting directly to the VP, Information Sciences.  The successful candidate will draw upon their experience in leading IT in a science-focused enterprise to:

  • Be accountable for IT infrastructure and operations (I&O) and responsible for the effective and efficient delivery of all third-party and internally managed IT infrastructure used to support business processes and services across the enterprise.
  • Deliver operational and service management processes to ensure that quality, efficiency, and agility goals are achieved.

  • Develop a meaningful and collaborative partnership with all aspects of our business to ensure continued alignment and ensure that the barriers that have traditionally divided IT from the business do not develop.

  • Deliver a solid, reliable, and highly available technology foundation supporting the continued scientific innovation taking place in the company by ensuring the implementation of effective policies, procedures, discipline, processes, and protocols.

  • Sets the mission and vision of the I&O function to foster a business-oriented culture and mindset driven by continual service improvement techniques.

  • Responsible for the management and oversight of IT Operations, including our cloud-focused infrastructure, server configuration and maintenance, and network.

  • Lead the development of an I&O sourcing strategy and provide oversight for strategic vendor and partner relationship management.

  • Ensure the efficient leverage and performance management of Managed Services Providers (MSPs).

  • Lead the implementation of key IT initiatives for a maturing company, particularly in the areas of security and compliance, including SOX, GDPR, GxP, HIPAA.

Required Skills

Ideal candidate will have solid technical infrastructure experience, strong project management acumen, and excellent vendor management skills, in addition to a superior, service-oriented approach to infrastructure and operations.

  • B.A. or equivalent and at least 10 years’ experience in delivery of technology services and support.

  • Certifications demonstrating technical and operational proficiency in IT are desired.

  • Knowledge of and experience with business practices and workflows in the pharmaceutical/biotech or related industry is required.

  • Working experience and knowledge in IT solution delivery and support using Managed Service Providers and other external sourcing.

  • Customer focused mindset and drive to meet and exceed high expectations of quality.
