As a new member of the RevMed team, you will join other outstanding scientists who are helping lead our efforts in the discovery and development of new medicines for unmet needs in cancer.



The Opportunity:

As a highly-motivated biotech/pharma professional with experience of drug discovery and early development focused on supporting 1-2 projects as well as buildout of our project management capabilities, you will:

Ensure that team and management concurrence is reached on program objectives, and that the team successfully delivers on the Company’s goals of timely and quality-focused development of new therapies within our portfolio
Act as a central contact for information on discovery/development programs and manage cross-functional activities to efficiently advance program goals

Collaborate with project leads, project teams and management to create a development strategy, establish team objectives, and monitor team progress

Proactively identify potential program bottlenecks, issues, and/or resource constraints and collaborate with the project leader and functions to develop plans for resolution.

Make recommendations regarding project objectives, resource requirements, and tactical plans to team and senior management



Key Position Responsibilities

Provide professional project management for two or more discovery, pre-clinical, and/or clinical programs

Participate in the oversight of cross-functional activities with project leaders and functional heads; make recommendations for action; and ensure appropriate follow-up to achieve approved project objectives

Responsibly manage project information, ensuring smooth transactions across milestones from discovery through preclinical development, IND, and clinical development

Support quarterly forecasts, and manage scope, timeline, and financial changes through tracking and proactively managing variances at the project level

Responsible for monitoring and facilitating project actions, risks, decisions, and issues to support effective project team interactions; notify and escalate issues, risks, and outcomes to the project teams

Support the project team toward implementation of the strategic and operational plans

Manage and track program progress to goals on a continual basis; identify and track cross-functional issues; scope issues at the project level including timelines and budgets; work proactively with project leader and team, including outsourced teams, to achieve timely resolution of issues and achievement of approved project goals

Ensure that timely, accurate, and comprehensive project information is available to senior management

Develop and maintain excellent working relationships with other functions and with external partners/vendors to foster positive interactions and support achieving desired project outcomes


Required Experience, Skills, and Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Science (with an advanced degree preferred e.g. MS or Ph.D)
PMP certification highly preferred with 5+ years of experience in biotech or biopharma, specifically Discovery chemistry or biology, pre-clinical, clinical development and/or CMC

Strong project management skills, specifically timeline and budget development and oversight with hands-on experience from preclinical through clinical development

Ability to manage teams and individuals in a matrix environment, ability to track team performance against objectives, use of effective meeting management tools and techniques, and knowledge of decision-making and conflict resolution techniques

Highly organized, detail-oriented, diplomatic and calm under pressure

Excellent written and verbal communication skills to work with cross-functional teams

Innovative, proactive team-player with high energy for our start-up environment

Demonstrated ability to lead, plan and achieve project related goals as part of an interdisciplinary team plus demonstrated success in building and managing cross functional teams

Experience in authoring and/or coordinating creation of research and development plans and confidential investigator brochures.

MS Office, specifically Project, Excel, PowerPoint expertise required
