Position Summary

The successful candidate will work on a program that aims to design novel personalized neo-antigen specific T cell products. S/he will work both independently and in a team across multiple functions and outside collaborators. The candidate will be responsible for exploring novel methods to generate T cell products.


Collaborate with both internal research teams and external groups to develop neo-antigen specific T cell therapies.
Implement and improve existing research strategies and techniques.
Train and supervise research associates to accomplish program and company goals.
Closely collaborate with the Neon clinical team to bring novel T cell therapies to the clinic.


Minimum of 5 years of experience in T cell immunology
PhD, MD, or MD/PhD in T cell immunology or related discipline with strong knowledge of the adaptive and innate immune system as well as oncology.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in developing T cell therapies.
Significant molecular biology expertise and experience with pre-clinical in vivo models preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of experience with hands-on technical experience in tissue culture, with preference for primary cell culture experience.
Demonstrated mastery of multicolor flow cytometry for T cell characterization.
Strong evidence of leadership background and experience working in cross-functional teams.
