Position Summary

Neon Therapeutics is seeking a scientist with hands-on in vivo mouse tumor immunology experience to build a function which conducts in vivo analysis of a variety of vaccine formats, including both immunogenicity and tumor control readouts. The successful candidate will evaluate translational concepts evaluating mechanism of actions of various immune modulators as well as combinations with vaccines. This person will be a critical part of a team evaluating next-generation technologies for vaccine delivery.

Qualifications

PhD or post-doctoral experience in related field.
Direct experience in animal handling (tumor implantation, delivery of immune modulators, organ recovery, etc).
In vivo mouse tumor immunology experience (vaccinology experience desirable but not required).
Ability to conduct relevant ex vivo immune cell analysis (flow cytometry, ELISPOT, intracellular cytokine staining, T cell functional assays).
Strong publication record of scientific achievements in T cell immunology (in vitro or in vivo).
Demonstrated ability to develop and test hypotheses.
Strong evidence of leadership background and experience working in cross-functional teams.
Demonstrated ability to collaborate internally as well as with outside contract facilities.
