Position Summary

The successful candidate will work across multiple programs at Neon. S/he will investigate next-generation technologies for vaccine delivery using mouse models, including immunogenicity and tumor control readouts. The candidate will work both hands-on in the lab and will manage external collaborations. S/he will also work as part of a team on the validation of Shared Neoantigens as targets for off-the-shelf therapies and their pre-clinical development.

Experience and essential skills:

Minimum of 5 years of experience in T cell immunology
PhD or post-doctoral experience in related field
In vivo mouse tumor immunology experience (vaccinology experience desirable but not required)
Ability to conduct relevant ex vivo immune cell analysis (flow cytometry, ELISPOT, intracellular cytokine staining, T cell functional assays).
Strong publication record of scientific achievements in T cell immunology (in vitro or in vivo).
Strong evidence of leadership background and experience working in cross-functional teams.
Demonstrated ability to collaborate internally as well as with outside contract facilities.
