Position Summary:

We are seeking a creative and self-motivated PhD scientist with a desire to excel at the highest level to join a team driving the discovery of novel small molecule therapeutics in oncology. The successful candidate will work independently within in a team to evaluate target dependency hypotheses, develop pre-clinical models, and evaluate small molecule leads. We are looking for a consummate team player who seeks a scientifically rigorous environment for their career development in drug discovery.

Job Responsibilities:

Independently design and execute experiments to evaluate target dependency hypotheses in multiple cancer contexts.
Perform experiments aimed at the biological evaluation of small molecules impacting cancer dependency pathways and anti-cancer immunity, including identification of pre-clinical models and the development of cell-based assays. interpret, summarize and present research findings at internal and external scientific meetings/conferences.
Proactively review literature to bring in the newest scientific findings, ideas, and methods/technologies for discovery research.

Ph.D. and post-doctoral training in Cancer Biology
Proven track record of excellence as evidenced by high impact, peer reviewed publications
Demonstrated skills in cellular and molecular biology techniques
Experience with in vitro and in vivo pharmacological assessment of small molecules preferred
Capability to work within a dynamic matrix environment, with strong contribution to project strategies and progression
Excellent communication, presentation, and inter-personal skills
Desire to learn the small molecule drug discovery process
