The opportunity

    • We're looking for a talented and passionate computational chemist to help drive innovation with our rapidly growing team. You will use groundbreaking computational methods, in conjunction with information generated by a variety of biophysical techniques, to design novel therapeutics that take advantage of protein motion. In this role, you will work as part of a multidisciplinary team to integrate computational and experimental insights and drive drug discovery. 

Your role

    • You will carry out analyses that combine computational and experimental data to develop testable hypotheses that drive drug discovery programs
    • Collaborate with scientists throughout the company to improve the impact of computational efforts on projects
    • You'll work collaboratively with external computational groups to develop and refine new computational methods
    • Ensure effective communication of computational results across departments and teams
    • Supervise and mentor other members of the group
    • We will expect you to develop new approaches to streamline and improve computational workflows

Your background

    • You earned a Ph.D. in Computational Chemistry, Computational Biology, Biophysics, or a related discipline
    • You have 5 to 10 years of experience working in industry
    • Demonstrated expertise and impact on drug discovery projects
    • Proven expertise in structure-based drug design
    • Expertise in at least one of these areas: Molecular dynamics, Machine learning, Structural biology 
    • Familiarity working in a Unix/Linux environment
    • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
    • Ability to work independently and drive your own research
