The Senior Manager, Corporate Development is a critical role, working directly with leadership and collaborating with all parts of the company to direct corporate development.

Your Role: 

• You will provide strategic support for Relay Tx’s Corporate Development team, with a key focus in Investor Relations and Corporate Strategy
• You will build and utilize a deep understanding of Relay Tx’s platform and portfolio of medicines to support our corporate strategy efforts
• You will work closely with leaders across our Research, Development, Legal, and Finance teams, engaging them cross-functionally with clear communication
• As a key member of a small Corporate Development team, you may be involved in a variety of other workstreams such as competitive landscape tracking, financial modeling, and more

Your Background: 

• Bachelor’s degree required (life science or related degree is a plus). MBA, Masters or PhD in life science discipline is a plus
• 3+ years experience in the pharma/biotech industry; candidates with prior experience in management consulting, ideally with a focus in life sciences or biotech, biotech investing, business development, and strategy preferred
• Very strong Excel, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Word skills, with the ability to operate independently to create and track materials
• Ability to interact effectively with/present to (verbally and in writing) all levels of the organization
• Ability to interact effectively with/present to all levels of the organization, significant expertise in creating PowerPoint slide deck
